European Skills, Competences, Qualifications and Occupations (ECSO) has been facilitating collaboration between public and private cybersecurity stakeholders as a European cross-sector organisation for nearly 10 years.
ECSO – the ‘Cybersecurity made in Europe’ label
ECSO launched the “Cybersecurity Made in Europe” label in 2020 to promote European cybersecurity companies that meet the following criteria:
Establishment of the headquarters in Europe
No predominant foreign ownership
Significant local R&D activities and personnel
Offering reliable cybersecurity products that comply with European standards such as ENISA’s (Indispensable baseline security requirements for secure IT products and services) security requirements and the GDPR.
